The ROLA-Terminal Wörgl handles 30 trains per day, which equates to 560 loading and unloading operations, an increase of around 20% compared to the previous year. Lorry drivers can use the terminal's waiting area until they are loaded onto the train. This now offers more comfort and safety for our customers.
ÖBB has made extensive improvements to the lounge, the sanitary facilities and the entrance area. The kerbstones have been repaired and a solid canopy has been erected along the entire length and in the pavement area. This protects lorry drivers and staff from the elements. New LED lighting was installed to improve safety and brightness in the access area. The walls of the common room have been repainted and a ventilation system with heat recovery has been installed. The room is equipped with vending machines, a self-catering area with microwave, tables and stools. WLAN will be available soon. A new catering concept from DON Railcatering completes the offer.
These measures have greatly improved passenger comfort and significantly enhanced the safety and durability of the infrastructure.
